Can Duvadilan Retard Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Last year my wife voncived for the fst time. But pregnency dint succeed. She had an abortion in the 6th week . Now she have concieved again and its her 6th month right now. Her doctor has given duvadilon retard aince the begining of her pregnancy. 2 tanlets a day. Is it safe to have duvadilon retard since begging

well duvadilan retard is isoxuprine which is an uterine smooth muscle relaxant and are generally given for prevention or delaying pre term labour...it is generally given for that reason only and the dosage and durations are as favoured by the obstreticians...
your doctor might continue this medicine for a couple more months and after the baby is well viable, he will stop this medicine and aim for normal delivery...
and yes, it is safe....there is no ill effect on fetus or mother as well....
