Can Deriphyllin Syrup Help In Treating Cold And Cough?
Hi Doctor, i ve cold for more than a month with cough. doctor recommended for deryphilin injection and nebulizer then the cough stopped.i didn t intake all the tablets they prescribed such as pulmocef, deryphilin, monticope, calpol and broncorex syrup. I had only monticope, pulmocef and the syrup whenever i had cold symptoms again. is it advisible to intake deryphiline tablets for cold? - will my body get addicted to it? i ve taken the blood test too and there s nothing adviced by the doctor about it. i drive two wheeler for my work will that be a cause for cold? please advice. My age is 26 and a mother of one.

deriphiline is for treating narrowed lung passage it does not act on cold as like nasal block and discharge and sore throat.
monticope acts on cold.
since you are using two wheeler there might be possibility due to traffic dust you get frequent breathing difficulty and cold. so use helmet and N 95 face mask to reduce the dust you breath in.
frequent use of deriphiline does not make you addicted to it.
if you get cold initially one tablet of allegra 120 mg will do. can take deriphiline or broncorex syrup if you have cough with sputum.
