Can Decadron And Neurobion Injections Be Given For Stroke?

My father had stroke last Monday (1st September, 2015) he is currently being treated with decadron and neurobion injection that are given twice in a day for three days. As per his CT-Scan he has his speaking nerve a bit pressed not clot or bleeding is found.Moreover he also respond slowly when we talk with him. Are these injection course alright? and kindly suggest other home medication to fasten his recovery
