Can Cyclosporine And Atorvastatin Be Replaced With Non Interacting Drug Equivalents?
I am a kidney transplant patient and take cyclosporine. I also have had 2 heart attacks. One within the last month. My blood is monitored every 3 months and all are results are within limits. I also take atorvastatin and now all of a sudden my insurance provider s doctor has notified my doctor s that the insurance company will no longer allow me to take both because of interactions between the two. I have taken them for over 6 years. Are there any medications that offer the same results without the interactions?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the case but the reason given can be challenged because it may not be the case as it is being stated by the company reason seems technical and not scientific one hope this information helps.
