Can Crocin And Rantac Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi, My wife is 12 weeks pregnant and DR recommend Folinext D, Shelcal-500 and Ferrogen XT. Also sometimes she had headache so DR recommend crocin 500 mg when required and Rantac 150 for digestion issue. Just need to know all are safe during pregnancy? Thanks

Yes, Crocin and Rantac can be taken safely during pregnancy. Crocin is considered as one of the safest fever reducer/pain reliever for pregnant women. It is a FDA Pregnancy Category B drug which means that it is safe for use during pregnancy and to use the lowest dose only as needed.

Zantac is also a FDA Pregnancy Category B drug which can be taken safely during pregnancy. Other prescribed medications are routinely prescribed during antenatal check-up to prevent anemia and vitamin D deficiency. They need to be taken as advised by your doctor.
