Can Crestor And Plaquenil Be Taken Together When Diagnosed With RA?

I was just diagnosed with RA,and at the time of diagnosis had been off Crestor for about a month when rheumatologist ordered plaquenil.I ve read that the two meds combined can cause nerve damage and I had to go back on the Crestor so now I m afraid to take the plaquenil.I have an appt with my Dr. In a couple of weeks but would like some input. Thank you

I read your query carefully.
As per your question,
yes both medication i.e Crestor and Plaquenil have Moderate Drug Interactions.
So you should not take them together.
These medication when taken in combination can cause Pain, Burning and Tingling sensations of both hands and feet because of nerve damage.
If you really want to take them together.
Then I would Suggest you to visit your Doctor for proper adjusment of dose of both drugs.
