General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There is no problem in giving your 2-year son Omnacortil for a longer period. While Coscopin should be avoided in impaired renal function conditions, it is ok to give your son Coscopin for a shorter period of time for a cough.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
