I ve been told I have folliculitis.keep getting this reoccurring rash on my chest,neck and upper back.ive been put on antibiotics but after my course is done it comes back.oral steroids take it away almost immediately but I know I can t take them long term(wish I could)it s the only thing that seems to work.i have done my own research and believe I have pityrosporum folliculitis.i have read a few times antibiotics aren t good for this type because it s a yeast/fungus.is this true?im getting desperate so I m going to try clotrimizole....any advice or suggestions?
