Can Clonidine Cause Tightening And Locking Of Tendons In Leg?

Can Clonidine 0.1 cause extreme tightening and locking of the tendon that runs down the front of the lower leg.. (I think it is call the shinbone in the leg). I took one dosage for the first time last night and my tendon became so locked/frozen, causing incredible pain...seemed to be relieved by constant gentle rubbing of my palms over the tendon. I have never experienced this before and could not believe how painful it was. Thanks for any help!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
This was not due to clonidine, that is for sure. was it like a spasm, or cramp. This can happen due to lack of salt in body. Are you still feeling it hard or painful. May be when it happen next time, try to stand on toes, if it relieve cramp its ok, if not than show to a orthopaedic.
