Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am trying to get used to my biped machine. My primary care physician prescribed clonazepam 0.5 mg to calm me so that I can accept the machine. I take blood pressure meds, a statin for cholesterol, Pradaxa 150 mg twice per day blood and a pill for Afib (diltiazem). I am concerned about the dire warnings of clonazepam. Can I take it? Should a start by cutting a pill in half?
