Can Clindamycin cause allergy?

I was born with coproporphyria and am allergic to most drugs. my doctor wants to prescribe clindamycin for a protozoal vaginal infection. Clindamycin is listed as a drug to be used on with extreme caution and if no alternative because of my porphyria. The doctor insists it is safe for me to use. I also am allergic to sulfa and it looks like I need to cross reference all my unsafe drugs with sulfa allergy too. This a a very daunting task. I need help with this task!

* As per my clinical experience, there are strong chances of your system to give reaction to Clindamycin.
* In our clinic, I suggest a blood test depicting possible drug sensitivity with specific antibodies and antigen principles.
