Can Calcium And Magnesium Supplements Be Taken Together?

Yes. I have taken calcium and magnesium in combination for several years without any problem. I do believe that my son (has trouble sleeping and reflux -- had a fundoplication surgery at 13) and my husband (who has trouble sleeping) could both benefit from calcium and magnesium. However, not too long ago I read something that said although they work together it was dangerous to take them at the same time. Is it safer to take them separately at different times of the day? Are you a doctor and what kind? Thank you!
