General & Family Physician 's  Response
Azithral is effective against bacterial infection, not viral fever. Azithral is given sometimes in viral infection to prevent secondary bacterial infection. loose motion is caused by mixed organisms such as bacteria, virus and protozoa.
Advice
1.     You can give a combination of norfloxacin and tinidazole such as Norflox TZ syrup every 12 hours for 3 days
2.     Dicyclomine 10 mg every 8 hours per oral for pain on as needed basis
3.     Electral powder – dissolve in 1 liter of water and drink frequently. You can use other over the counter ORS
4.     Eat small, frequent meals to allow the stomach to digest foods gradually
5.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily to avoid dehydration
6.     If further deterioration occurs then visit hospital for intravenous fluids and intravenous antibiotics
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
Thanks
