Can Atenolol And Amlodipine Be Taken In The Morning Instead?

Hi, I ve been taking my atenelol and amlodipine at night. I take thyroid medication in the morning. Is there a problem switching my dosing to morning heretofore? I know you should take at same time every day, but I missed last night and took the blood pressure meds this morning with my thyroid. Is it a problem to continue that regime, as it will be more convenient than having to worry about meds morning and night? Many thanks

Yes, you can switch over to morning regimen, actually most of the blood pressure tablets should be taken in the morning.

Usually I prescribe atenolol and amlodipine to my patients in the morning only and it has wonderful results. Both work for 24 hrs, so there is no major issue

Take thyroid tab before breakfast and hypertension medication after breakfast.
