Can Amway Protein Be Given To A Diabetic?

hello doctor good day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Father is diabetic patient and normal reading arounf 14 to 16 . Now that he admit and we unable to give him high due to he also Heart Patient. Can we give him AMWAY Protein on Chocalate Flavour ?? Please revert with many thanks.

Hello there,
If under the listed ingredients you do not see sucrose, glucose, HFCS(high fructose corn syrup) then I do not think there is any harm in giving him Amway's protein powder. The only thing we have to watch out for is that if he has any kidney affliction which may happen in end stage diabetes then we cannot give him a protein powder with any artificial sweetner like aspartame or saccharin.
