Can Amoxicillin Be Taken For High Fever, Chills And Headache?

hi, i'm living on an island called morro de sao paolo in brasil, for the last 10 days i have been with a high fever chills sore throat headache and earache. I took paracetamol 750mg for a week and the fever went down and i feel a it better, i now have a bad cough and am feeling tired and run down all the time. i had very bad diareha for 2 days last week too. I have taken an amoxcill 500mg can i carry on taking them and what dosage.

Hello.Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used in pharyngeal infection, ear infection caused by bacteria .Probably your symptoms are caused by a virus, Amoxicillin is not effective for this purpose.
Go to your physician to confirm the diagnosis and for prescription.
