Can Advil Cause Colitis?
I have had 3 severe reactions to aleve over the past couple of years. I have been able to take Advil with no complications. However, I took 2 Advil and ended up in the hospital for 5 days with a serious bout of colitis. Do you think the Advil could have caused this?

Colitis is not caused by Advil. Advil has aggravated it.
I think that you have suffered from a colonopathy before, but the symptoms might have been slight and now symptoms are severe due to Advil.
To relieve your symptoms you shouldn't take Advil and non steroidal anti inflammatory medications.
