Can Advil Be Taken Along With Sinus Medication?

for the past 3 days I have had pain in upper teeth on one side of face swelling also. never had a sinus infection before. I have a tooth that has a route canal that goes into my sinuses. has been there 50 years. I went to my dentist and he xrayed that tooth as that is the most painful. nothing definite but put me on amoxicillin. I got a cold and sinus med from pharmacy to try. I use a nedi pot and do get some relief using that. I have an apt to check out that tooth with a specialist but I have never had this much pain before except when I have had an abcessed tooth. my cold and sinus med has 200 mg of ibuprofen and I was wondering if I could take an advil inbetween the times I take the antibiotic and sinus med.i am 70 years old

Hi,
You can take ibuprofen 400 mg instead of 200 mg for pain.
There is no problem taking Advil in between ibuprofen dose.
Take with full stomach.
Ok and take care.
