Calf Pain Persistent Throughout The Past Few Days, Please Give Your Suggestion To Get Rid Of It

Wondering if a calf pain persistent throughout the past few days is serious enough to go and get it personally checked out by a doctor. It's fine while sitting or sleeping, but walking on the leg is painful just after I get up from either of those. It seems to subside a little after walking on it a bit, but manages to come back later.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM, Pain in calf muscles which are usually due to cramps or due to vit E deficiency. Take some simple pain killers to overcome the pain; besides take vitamin E supplement before going to bed. This may considerably improve your condition. Take care.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
If calf pain on both the side usually it may be due to some strain on calf muscles or running, jogging after a long time.
If it is so then take rest and take analgesics as and when required.
If pain is on one side then it is possible that it may be due to intermittent claudication due to vericause vein or deep vein thrombosis.
Consult vascular surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Ok and bye.
