CT scan of abdomen done, shows mass projecting from right kidney, necrosis, calcification, mitotic etiology. Related to kidney stones operation?
THE ABDOMEN CT REPORT REPORT CT FINDINGS REVEAL A LARGE WELL DEFINED,HETEROGENEOUS DENSITY MASS SEEN PROJECTING EXOPHYTICALLY FROM THE UPPER LOBE OF RIGHT KIDNEY WITH CENTRAL AREAS OF NON-ENHANCEMENT/ NECROSIS & CALCIFICATION .THE MORPHOLOGY,EXTENT & DIMENSIONS OF THE MASS ARE DESCRIBED ABOVE IMAGING FEATURES ARE SUGGESTIVE OF LIKELY MITOTIC ETIOLOGY. HOW DO WE CORRELATE IT TO?COULD IT BE DUE TO KIDNEY OPERATION DONE TO REMOVE STONES MANY MANY YEARS EARLIER.
Your CT report means that there is a tumor of the right kidney.
It does not arise due to any surgery, and is a separate condition.
Get the treatment done as advised by your specialist.
