CT Scan Done. Meaning Of Findings?

I recently had a follow up ct scan for a nodule in my right lower lobe incidentally found when I had a kidney stone a year and a half ago. The new findings do not show the nodule, however show a "haziness in the left lung base possibly representing fibrosis". I am not ill and have not been ill. What does this mean for me?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You are absolutely fine and you shouldn't worry about findings.
Fibrosis is the sequel of healing process. Infection during healing forms fibrotic bands.
It is good that nodule has vanished. Probably nodule was due to infection and now it is healed.

Take Care
