Hi,

The issue of IBS is a multifactorial process and the management also follows the same pattern as
- stress management with meditations
- regular walking, exercises
- a balanced nutritious diet with avoidance of dairy fat, spices, non-veg
- regular sound sleep of 7-8 hours
- avoidance of smoking, alcohol if consuming
- fixed timings of breakfast, lunch, dinner (have to manage in busy schedules, after all when there is fit life everything follows it)
- keep the stomach empty by 20% of satiety level every time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
