Burping, Constipation And Bloating. How To Overcome This?

I;m 16, 5'4 inches, and weight 137 pounds. Since i was younger, I would have constipation problems. my doctor told me to stop eating chocolate. I did, but i still have constipation problems. Starting about a year ago, i developed burping problems where I have to concentrate to let my burp out if it feels like its coming up. Most of the times, the burp gets stuck. It's been a week and I haven't been able to poop and I feel bloated after every meal and I can only eat small meals because I get full easily. I don't smoke or drink

Welcome to HCM!

I have read your question carefully and from my clinical experince I feel that you have a tendency to get constipation easily. There are many such people who have this complaint so, please relax. it is manageable!

the most important thing right now is that you have not poo from one week. I have seen such cases respond greatly to lactulose / lactilol syrup, two tsp for now, and then once you are able to poo, take one tsp daily for. a week. Plus start pantoperazole 20 mg once a day berofre meals for a week to reduce bloating and burping issue.

For your tendency to get constipation easily, I think just by stopping chocolates will not help completely, you should also::
-increase the amount of salad and green veggies in your diet,
-- reduce or just stop completely spices/ chillies,
-junk food ,like: pasta, pizza, noodles ect will enhance constipation, so stop them
-increase water consumption
- papaya, guava, Amal are some fruits which increase digestion, and help in constipation.

Please see what you eat and change your eating style for long term improvement. There are loads of medicines in market for relieving constipation but only diet managment will bring lasting effect.

Hope this helps you
