Burns Due To Cooker. Marks Remain. Silverex Ointment Prescribed. Will The Marks Fade?
Hi Doctor, My daughter 2.5 years old got burns in her leg due to hot cooker yesterday..we went to doctor and got silverex ointment...then bubble came and it breaked too..now the color of skin thr is black ...that black skin is also now coming off....my worries is will that black skin go off with no marks? should i use someother extra cream for nomarks
Please do not worry,the burn marks usually fade over time.Give it a few months ,small children heal well and fast,you will probably not be able to identify the site of the burn.Please do not use any OTC therapy,your Doctor will be able to guide you further.
