Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,
Since you are having the symptoms like burning, sensitivity to light for last five years....
I would like to know whether these symptoms are constant or recurring?
Constant presence of these symptoms are usually because of corneal pathologies which need evaluation and treatment.
The recurrent presence of these symptoms can be because of conjunctival inflammation like conjunctivitis which needs treatment by antibiotic eye drops in case of infection or antiallergic eye drops in case of allergies.
Hence do consult your ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
Thank you
