Burning Sensation On The Body. On Lexapro And Klonopin For Anxiety And Depression. Is That The Cause?
I have a horrible burning sensation all over my body about 5 days a week. All day and all night. I have no clue what could be causing this. It's been going on for over 6 months now and it's so bad I can't sleep because I am so HoT!! I don't sweat, have no rash or itching, just feels like a have a terrible sunburn on my face, ears, arms, stomach, back, buttocks, legs, EVERYWHERE but my feet. My feet will be icy cold. I am on medications for depression and anxiety which include Lexapro, Trileptal, Klonopin, and Adderall. The Adderall is mainly used because I'm so tired and fatigued I can't get out of the bed. I find it hard to believe it's the medications because I've been on all of them for 12 yrs. now and all of my doctors keep saying it's the depression, but the only thing depressing me is this burning hot "sunburn" feeling all day, everyday!!! Please Help!!!

You are having burning hot "sunburn" feeling all day on medications of Lexapro(Escitalopram), Trileptal(Oxcarbazepine) , Klonopin(Clonazepam), and Adderall(combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine). Sometimes Trileptal(Oxcarbazepine) may cause Skin sensitivity to sunlight and patient may experience severe sunburns as a result of sun exposure. Adderall(combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine) may also cause fever.
