Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Burning sensation in stomach could be due to peptic ulcer disease.
Peptic ulcer disease could be in form of antral gastritis, ulcers, erosions or at times adenocarcinoma of stomach.
Peptic ulcer disease is caused by Helicobacter Pylori bacteria.
Fever is not a part of this gastric problem.
Do you have cough/ sneezing/ sore throat/ vomiting/ loose motions/ burning urination?
Cause of fever has to be find for exact diagnosis and treatment.
Treatment depends on site of involvement.
Meanwhile, you should continue proton pump inhibitors along with paracetamol for relief.
Take care,

Hi Anisha,
Thanks for writing your query.

Fever with chills can be due to Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) or due to Malaria.
I would suggest thet you should get following investigations done :-
1. Complete Blood Count (CBC)
2. Malaria test
3. Urine examaination

You should continue taking paracetamol 500 mg which can be repeated 6 -8 hourly if the fever persists.
Antibiotics should not be started unless there is evidence of bacterial infection.
If your report is normal, your fever can be viral which takes 5-7 days for complete recovery.

You should take proper rest for speedy recovery and eat healthy foods including fresh fruits and vegetables to increase your immunity. Also drink lots of pure water daily.

Treatment can be planned according to the reports of the investigations.

For acidity, in addition to antacid, you should follow some precautions like :-
1. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2. Donot miss a meal.
3. Avoid emotional/mental stress.
4. Avoid excessive tea/coffee/cigarette/alcohol, if applicable.
5. Avoid self medication especially with pain killers and steroids.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
