Burning Sensation All Through Body After Any Alcoholic Beverage, Cause?
after I drink alcoholic beverage, one glass of any type, I have extreme burning sensation all through my body, which feels like it could be nerve pain or fire going through my blood ...the same sensation I had when I was injected with the chemical they used before I had the CT Scan years back. what is causing this sensation. I cannot drink any alcolholic beverage whatsoever - no one understands when I try and tell them why.

Burning sensation of body is common after consuming alcohol. But if it is severe, the possibility of allergy to alcohol or Alcohol dehydrogenase enzyme deficiency ( It is an enzyme that metabolizes the alcohol in the body).
Do not worry. Often people dont understand the agony you are going through unless they experience the pain.
Coming to the treatment part in both the cases, abstinence of alcohol is the treatment of choice.
Please see a doctor and get tested for alcohol dehydrogenase deficiency.
