Burning Sensation After Smoking, Swelling, Difficulty In Swallowing. Treatment?

Hi. So everytime I smoke a cigarette my throat gets this burning achy feeling so I've actually quit smoking to see if that would help. A couple days later, my tongue starts to swell up and is actually rubbing on the sides of my teeth. My throat is swollen and it hurts to swallow anything. What do I do to get rid of this?

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.
I have gone through your available history.

You might have developed esophageal or pharyngeal inflammation which is very common in smokers.

You should consult your doctor preferably throat specialist to find out the reason.

You have to stop smoking at least it heals completely.

Liquid food will be less difficult to swallow so you may take that.

Thanks.
