Burn On Knee, Warm To Touch, Swelling, Difficult To Move Knee. Concerned

I have a pretty bad burn on the back of my knee. The skin is leathery and very warm to the touch and impossible to straighten or even bend slightly. I was wondering if there was anything aside from aloe and pain killers to help with swelling. I'm also concerned that the tissue under the skin is damaged since it is so painful to move the joint. Is this anything more than a bad sunburn?

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thank you for your query.

This seems to be acute knee joint inflammation as a part of systemic or localized arhritis. Beside nonsteroid painkillers some stronger antiinflammatory drugs can be used such as corticosteroids or citotoxic drugs but first it should evaluated the right cause. also if there is swelling it can be apirated and sent to analysis.

Wish you good health.Regards
