Bumpy Rash On The Eyelid, Switched Over The Solution Of Contact Lens Containing Polyquaternium 1. Cause?
I ve had an allergic or chemical sensitivity reaction to a contact lens solution recently. I ve already had a doctor s exam for it and the condition has resolved, but i m trying to research what may have caused it so i can avoid in the future. the solution contained polyquaternium 1, which my old solution did not. Is this a likely culprit? The symptom was a bumpy rash on my eyelid .

Allergic reactions can occur to anything. Exact reason will never be known until searched extensively.
Search is usually by trial and error method.
If you have done it, then that solution content would have caused you same reaction.
