Bump On Upper Left Lip, Stinging And Burning Sensation. Is It An Allergic Reaction?

About an hour ago i had a bump on the upper left side of my lip and it was tingling kinda burning and a lil stinging. It almost looked like a bug bite but it wasn t. also it kinda had a half red circle around the Welt/Bump could it be an allergic reaction or herpes? that was about 30min to an hour after i ate some beef stew at work using their cup to drink water, spoon and bowl to eat the stew. They have a dish washer but i don t know how clean the dishes actually get.

Hello,
Bumps on lips may be caused due to allergic reaction.
Apply diclofenac gel on the affected site.
Swish with povidine iodine and lukewarm saline frequently.
Avoid spicy foods.
Rinse your mouth after every meals.
If symptoms persists,visit a dentist.
Take care.
