Bump in forehead, keeps on coming on , off. What could be reason?
I have a bump in the center of my forehead and I do not know how or why it s there. I did not hit my head and it is not painful. It appeared about a month ago and it has not gotten smaller or larger. I asked my primary physician and he stated that it was nothing to worry about (two wks ago). Now I m getting concerned because it s still here. Do you have any idea what may have caused it ?

1. Whether it can be moved by your fingers?
2. Whether any liquid discharge oozes out from it?
3. Any dark spot or opening on the skin overlying the swelling?
After reading your post, it seems that the swelling or bump on your forehead appears to be a lipoma.
Lipoma is benign collection of fat cells under the skin.
You should not feel concerned about it except for cosmetic reasons.
It can be excised surgically for cosmetic reasons.
