It is very difficult to say any thing without exact site of bulging as if it is in the chest it may be due to coldabscess and below the ribs on lower right side it may be in connection with liver.
So without exact history like cough, temperature, abdominal symptoms it is difficult to say.

I have been having pain over the last week - sometimes in my right side below the ribs, sometimes the left side below the ribs, sometimes in my back (making it hard to stand up straight), sometimes in the hip area. I had my celebrex 200 mg o.d. doubled last friday. Could this be causing my discomfort?
I fell on my right side playing softball. my right elbow was pushed into the upper portion of the rib area just below nipple line about 1/2 inch to 1 inch left of the right nipple. I do have pain there and have for about a week. I ve had cracked ribs in the past, but lower on the rib cage. most of the pain is concentrated in the center of the chest, not on the right side. any ideas.?
