Bruised Sore Spot Spreading On Leg. Not Responding To Doxycyclin. Spider Bite?

I have been to the doctor and they gave me doxycycline - I started out with what I thought was a bruise under my left leg - however, it has been 3 wks and it is now as big as my hand and the middle is very hard - thougtht it might be a spider bite - but its not - today I know noticed another hot spot around my rt breast and it is some what sore to the touch. This is starting to alarm me.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You might have developed furuncles.

These are deep bacterial infections.

Recurrent spots at different places suggest that you have an infection.

Treatment is with antibiotics.
Doxycycline is also an antibuotic. but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
