Bruise on ankle, size of a golf ball. Changing color to pink, fading. Having weakness, weightloss. Suggestions?

I have a bruise on my upper ankle the size of a golf ball that s been there over a year. It has no pain I am not sure how I got it .... It has stayed new bruise color and at times is darker pink and at times fades a little ... I ve been sick a lot, weak, lost about 18# in the past 3 months ... I guess I am a bit worried

you should have an ankle x ray and rule out a fracture.if not fracture it can be a strain or sprain.better have a orthopedic consultation.hope this may help you
