Bruise Like Pain In Thigh, Tight Lower Back Muscle. Advise?

Hello and thank you I have had a bruise like feeling in my upper front thigh for about a week. I didn't hit the area and have no discoloration on the spot itself. I have recently gone to my physio, and with his examination I discovered the pain was also to the side of my thigh, not just at the front. He feels I have very tight lower back muscle and this is possibly the cause of the pain. Would you agree ?

Hello and welcome to HCM

The presence of pain in front of thigh and lower back muscles suggests a muscle strain or a muscle pull.
It can occur due to sudden movement of lower lower back or lower limb.
Consult you physiotherapist for exercises which will relax your muscles.
You can take a painkiller if the pain is very trouble some.
The recovery may take some time so have patience.

Thanks and take care.
