Brown Vaginal Discharge, No Periods For Twenty Years. Is This Uterine Prolapse?

I am having a brown vaginal discharge after not having my period for over 20 years. What could be causing this? should I be worried? It doesn t happen during the day, only upon waking up and then no more during the day. Could it be uterine prolapse? My mother s womb dropped out almost completely at age 75. I am 67 and thinking I may be starting with the same problem she had.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
Your brown discharge from vagina should be ruled out for any pathological changes.
Prolapsed uterus does not cause any discharge .
You should consult gynecologist to examine yourself.
Thanks.
