Broken Wrist, Pain, Unable To Put Weight On It, Difficulty Bending It. X-ray Done. Treatment Options?

I fell backwards on a hard surface 2 weeks ago. I went to see my doctor and he sent me for X-rays which showed up no break in my wrist so they said to just give it a week or 2 and 2 weeks later its still very painful and I can t put any weight on it and when I bend it forward or back it can only bend so far but I have no trouble lifting things though

Dear Rachie,
First of all I think you should go for a repeat X ray of your wrist, because sometimes an undisplaced minute hairline fracture can be missed initially. If still no fracture is detected then you just follow some basic advice along with medicine it will be alright within a few weeks.
1. Give rest to your affected wrist.
2. Use alternate hot and cold massage.
3. Analgesic ointment and tablet along with antacid.
Dont be get tensed it is a very simple injury, getting back to your normal life is just a matter of time.
Best of luck.
