Broken Arm, Swelling. Plaster Applied, Pain And Swelling Still Present. Recovery Time?

Dear doctor, mum 58 yrs old have broken arm crack before 38 day ago and the Doctor removed the plaster cast 3 days later , and her arm still swollen till now and the movement still very hard and suffer from pain for your info the doctor apply plaster cast for 35 day ,, is it normal and how long time it take to recover and back to normal movement ?

Swelling and stiffness is normal after removal of plaster.

It needs physiotherapy of joint to regain the function.

In case swelling is too much and tenderness present, get checked by your orthopaedician.
