Bright Red Color Around Breast, Swollen Lymph Node Near Armpit, Occuring For 3 Months

One day I noticed a very bright red area around my breast. It remained that way until I began using cold compresses. Then I noticed a raised area in my lymph node nearby near the arm pit. The redness is going to a slight pink in color, but will appear redder again if I wear a bra during the day. Less problem if I go without a bra. The lymph node continues to be swollen, but seems to be going down very slightly. This has been ongoing for about 3 months.

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The lymph node could possibly be swollen due to chronic mastitis. I suggest you to take a 7day course of antibiotic like Ciprofloxaxin. If it still persists it is advisable to have a thorough examination done by a General Surgeon.
Wishing you a healthy life
Take care
