Bright red blotches on my lower legs after walking a long distance

Bright red blotches on my lower legs after walking a long distance I have had this before. Skiing and hill walking brings this on. I thout it may just a an alergy to my socks but this time it has spread further up my shin and calf. They are bright red irregular marks. They do not itch and their are defined in shape, not like a bruise that fades at the edges. Any idears? Thanks

Hi, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Your symptoms suggest them to be Cherry Angiomas, which are non-cancerous that is benign skin growths made up of blood vessels. They can occur anywhere on the body and the cause is unknown. Consult a Dermatologist and if possible get a Skin biopsy done to confirm it. If they start to bleed, they can be removed by, electrocautery, cryotherapy, LASER or Shave Excision.
Kindly don't worry as they are not serious.

Wish you Good Health, Take Care.
