Hello,

If you are physically fit and healthy and not suffering from any medical problem, in that case what you are experiencing could be probably due to discontinuation / withdrawal symptoms because of stopping Paxil. Some patients may experience withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, nausea, sweating, insomnia, irritability, tingling sensation after stopping Paxil even when they taper it down slowly.

Assuming that, this is the reason behind your current symptoms, you can ask your doctor to restart the previous tolerable dose of Paxil and then start tapering it down at a much slower rate. This should help in controlling the withdrawal symptoms.

On the other hand, if you are able to tolerate these withdrawal symptoms, in that case, you may wait as most withdrawal symptoms usually subside within 2-3 weeks of stopping the Paxil. However, if these symptoms increase in severity or duration, then you should consult your doctor again.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Vikas
