My age is 26. this problem is from last week. i used ice on my eyes. but for one eye it went, now today another boil came in other eye. Please help me to get rid of these boils.
Dear Prachtigle, Hi, From your history I could make out you are suffering from stye of hordeolum. It may be external or internal type. The boils in your eyes may be due to repeated infection of your glands in the eyelids which are getting blocked and forming swelling and pus point. It may be caused by infection from your hands , or in the lids like blepheritis .If you have a refractive error you may repeatedly squeeze your eyes and rub it to have a clear view by which infection from the hands spreads onto the lids and it glands. So I would suggest you to have an eye check up and do your vision test.Rule out blepheritis , meibomian gland dysfunction and atopic conjuctivitis which may precipitate stye. Do hot fomentation, , put some antibiotic ointment at night and use lubricating drops too....TC ..Dr Ajay Shankar Kar
