Blurred And Double Vision And Headaches After Retinal Detatchment Surgery

Three and a half weeks ater retinal detatchment surgery shoa be seeing through a green haze and seeing images smaller through the repaired eye when compared to my undamaged eye. I am also having some pain around the eye and a feeling that there is something in the eye. Also I am having blurred and "double" vision and headaches.

It takes 6 - 8 weeks for the vision to stabilise after RD surgery. The spectacle number is expected to increase (myopia) after the surgery and that is the reason the objects are looking smaller. Pain / Discomfort can be due to inflammation / raised eye pressure ( Glaucoma). Double vision so early in the post operative period is very unusual and you must bring it to the notice of your Retina Specialist. Once your doctor looks into the underlying cause then he / she will be able to give you an explanation / solution for the problem.
Warm regards & TC
