Bluish Half Circle Around Upper Part Of Iris, Under Tremendous Stress. Prescribed Glasses. Suggestions?

a few days ago I saw a bluish/grey half circle around the upper part of my iris in both of my eye's. I am wondering what causes this, and if I need immediate attention? I have recently been to the eye doctor who told me that I had a stigma in my eye's and perscribed me a pair of glasses. I have been under tremendous stress and do not know if this is a contributing factor to what is going on.

As your doctor told stigma, it may be astigmatism which has altered your power so your doctor has prescribed a pair of glass. Usually it wont progress. Bluish / grey half circle in both eyes may be due to allergy, aging process, constant irritation or infection. Since you dont have any symptoms it may be due to aging process(bilateral). Take plenty of fluids, avoid dust and working under sun. Relax yourself and keep giving breaks if you are working in front of computer or TV. Consult your doctor for further examination and management.
