Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

The main fact from your query is the history of a hysterectomy. Hysterectomy can have many long-term effects on the female body.

Let me explain the effects you have been experiencing one by one. First of all, the urinary bladder and the uterus are supported by many of the same muscles and ligaments due to their close proximity. A hysterectomy may involve damage to those very same muscles, that can result in a prolapse or other adverse effects on the urinary bladder. This can result in weakness of the bladder and thus, incontinence. Urinary incontinence is involuntary urination or leakage of urine. I hope I was clear in explaining this.

Any change in the urinary bladder or its weakness can make it vulnerable. This vulnerability can lead to a long list of conditions. Including urinary tract infections (UTIs). This explains the recurrent UTIs.

I would thus request you to first visit your gynecologist and get yourself examined to rule out the most likely cause. At the same time, you could get your glycemic profile (to check for diabetes) and an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound (to check on your kidneys). But, I am sure this would be normal.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
