I am 22 years old. Male. Over the last one week i have felt that my stool was a bit hard to pass. When i would clean up with a tissue i could see small traces of blood. So i decided to eat more fibre items and it seemed to get better over the last couple of days. However today i woke up at an odd timing 2am and used the bathroom only to realize that my underwear had blood stains on it and each time i cleaned up with a tissue there was blood stains on it. I did feel hard to pass the stool so im not sure if this is because of a lack of fibre intake or if it is something serious. I have never had this problem till now. Will taking medicine to make my stool pass easily help or make things worse?

I am 87 and have been suffering from IBS for a number of years. Added to that the colonoscopy that I underwent about three or four times in the last 15 years show Diverticulosis. My abdomen is always bloated and I have a feeling of fullness and discomfort. My stool have become narrower over the years and I feel like passing stools often but the result is only passing of wind. Am taking two capsules of Probiotics daily and someone suggested Colospa. What is your advice regarding medicine and other precautions?
I have 2 bowel movements early in the morning since last 3 weeks. My stool is loose accompanied by foam like thing possibly mucos with no signs of blood. I have no pain or cramps but my body feels very weak and an hour after I pass stool I feel better. The rest of day is I am fine with no further bowel movements or weakness. What might be the cause ?
I am female age 45...in perimenopause-recently had a period after two and half months. Daily experience of feeling bloated and look like I m pregnant(I am not), bowel changes include urgent need to move bowels several times during the day yet urgency doesn t match quantity-stools are soft to loose, often feel indigestion, bloat, occasional heartburn. My diet is relatively healthy, exercise 1-3 X s wk. Can t seem to beat the bloated, gassy feelings I experience daily. Have had gastritis in the past but didn t last this long, but I m not ruling it out either. Concerned symptoms may be a gastritis, food allergy/sensitivity, or perhaps a diverticulosis. Suzane
I have pain in my lower left side. Gas and bloating . Diverticulosis was found on a colonoscopy I had in March 2017. I have been treating it myself by eating more fiber, drinking a lot of water and moving around. The pain has been in that area...
