Blood in saliva, painful knee, pain in rib cage, headache. Suggest?

Hi. In the mornings when I wake up I find blood in my spit/ saliva . I also have a pain in my left leg near the knee and sometimes a dull pain under my right ribcage side and a curious pulling in the left side of my head. I m seeing a dr about the blood tomorrow but want an idea about what it might be. I also need to know if the other pains are unrelated.

Thanks for posting on HCM,

Blood in saliva or sputum might come from your gums or lungs. If gums then you might be suffering from a gingival diseases probably an infection but if lungs then it might be something serious such as a lung diseases (lung infection/pneumonia, pulmonary TB, tumor/cancer etc).
In any case, you will need to see your doctor as soon as possible and well as you mentioned, you will be seeing tomorrow which is good.

Hope this helps
