Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.

Well, what you've had is quite unusual. But the only explanation I have is - in some women during intermenstrual period close to ovulation time can have spotting. Though you are on birth control pills which inhibit ovulation, the pills produce similar hormonal environment as ovulation which might have resulted in the spotting.

Nevertheless, there is nothing to worry as long as you remain asymptomatic. If you also experience pain, soreness, some kind of discharge, then you need to consult your gynaecologist to rule out trauma / infections.

Hope this answers your query.

Regards
